Luis Fernando Ixcamey Rivera also took participation in the contest for the design of the Coca brand bottle to be exhibited at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, United States in 1996.
He further did many exhibitions and other artistic contest such as collaboration of a sculpture to commemorate the 100 years of foundation of
the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, obtaining second place with
an image of the Chalana with 80X80 cm measurements, the first place was
obtained by the architect EfraĆn Recinos. (He is one of the most famous artisans of the country)
